Parent Support Team
High School Ministry could not happen without the service of parents. We consider it a privilege to partner with parents in ministering to students and love nothing more than seeing parents deeply involved in High School Ministry. There are ample opportunities for parental involvement and if you find that any of the service opportunities described below appeal to you please click on the link to print out a Parent Support Form. If you have any questions please contact Reed Carringer rcarringer@fefc.com.
Regular Happenings (Application Process Required)
- Small Group Leaders: Small Groups are composed of a small number of same gender students which are usually near the same age. Small Groups are at the core of our relational ministry philosophy and provide a time for students to engage each other in Bible study, prayer, fellowship, discipleship, fun, accountability, and friendships.
- Sunday Morning Leader: Each Sunday, High School Ministry happens at 11 am. There are ample opportunities for parental involvement during the High School service, including positions serving with the hospitality, cafe, tech, and worship teams. All of these teams have the goal of helping students get involved, both in the ministry and in their relationships with Christ, and provide a great opportunity to impact students relationally.
- Event Chaperon: High School Ministry is involved in several mission trips, service events, and camps throughout the year.
Other Opportunities for Spring Semester:
- Administrative Help with Events—Senior Banquet, Mexico Mission Trip, Camp Sharp Top Cove, Operation Backyard. There are several things that go on while planning each one of these events. And since they are so close together it makes for a really hectic time in the Student Minsitry office. If you would like to help with any of these events, please contact Kerry White at 470-2820 x.134 or kwhite@fefc.com.
